We are going to cover 4 types of different product combination offers in this extension for opencart:
- Buy Product With Selected Option and Get Offer on same product option. ( Product options offer )
- Buy X Products and Get Y Offer On Categories ( Product to category offer )
- Buy X Products and Get Y Offer On Different Products ( product to different product offer )
- Buy X Products and Get Y Offer On Same Products ( Same products offer )

We will also give you an example of each offer above so you are clear about what Product Combination has to offer for you.
The extension is best for you if you want to have offers based on certain products added. So in this extension when a customer adds a certain product they get some offer. So the condition is applied to the products. If the condition is true, the offer shall be available.
Now we are okay with the conditions above, but the offer can be anything like on same products, different products or different category. Hence we have divided the extension into 3 parts so life becomes little easier for you. 🙂
We will now explain each type and example offers available :
1) Buy Product with selected option and Get Offer on same product option.
In this type, you can set up offers on product options. Like when a customer buys 2 large size t-shirt, then get 1 more large size t-shirt at an offer.
Ex:
- Buy Moto G4 Plus and get 70% Off in Motorola covers Category.
- Buy Nexus 5x and get $15 Off on Nexus Covers Category.
2) Buy X Products and Get Y Offer On Categories
In this type as the name suggests it is you buy a product or a group of products, And you get an offer on some category or group of categories.
Ex:
- Buy Moto G4 Plus and get 70% Off in Motorola covers Category.
- Buy Nexus 5x and get $15 Off on Nexus Covers Category.
3) Buy X Products and Get Y Offer On Different Products
In this type as the name suggests it is you buy a product or a group of products, And you get an offer on different products or group of products.
Ex:
- Buy 2 IPhone and get Imac product at 40 % Off.
- Buy Hp Lp product and get 25% Off on Sony vio laptop.
4) Buy X Products and Get Y Offer On Same Products
In this type as the name suggests it is you buy a product or a group of products, And you get an offer on same products or group of products.
- Buy 2 IPhone 5s and get 1 more Iphone 5s at 40 % Off. ( 1 + 1 at 40% Off)
- Buy 1 Puma Flip Flop and get 1 more at 100% off. (1 + 1 at 100% Off )
- Buy 2 Titan watch and get 2 more titan watch at $100 OFF. ( 2 + 2 with $100 OFF)
How to create an offer for : Buy Product With Selected Option and Get Offer On Same Option:

- Login into admin and go to extension – modules – Buy Product With Selected OptionandGet Offer On Same Option.
- Click Insert New Offer button and it will open a new page to insert a new offer.
- Keep status as enabled.
- Enter a unique name for offer. This name will also be shown in order total if this offer is applied.
- Enter product name on which you want to set an offer. The product should have options.
- If this product has an option. It shall appear in drop down once you select it.
- You can select the options on which you want to set the offer. Ex: Large Size, Blue Color, etc.
- You must also enter the number of options that must be added.
- Now enter the number of quantity on which offer should be given. Ex: 2 + 1
- Choose what kind of discount needs to be done. Ex: Fixed or Percentage.
- Choose the amount of discount.
- You can select the offer page associated with this offer.
- This offer page is shown on checkout and shopping cart page when customer is eligible for the offer.
- Click Save. The offer has been successfully created.
How to create an offer for : Buy X Products and Get Y Offer On Categories:

- Login into admin and go to extension – modules – Buy X Products and Get Y Offer On Categories
- Click Insert New Offer button and it will open a new page to insert a new offer.
- Keep status as enabled.
- Enter a unique name for the offer. This name will also be shown in order total if this offer is applied.
- Enter product names which must be added to cart for offer to eligible.
- You must also enter the quantity of above products that must be added to cart.
- Now enter the number of quantity on which offer should be given.
- Now select the category on which the offer will be applied.
- Any product from that category is now part of this offer.
- Choose what kind of discount needs to be done. Ex: Fixed or Percentage.
- Choose the amount of discount.
- You can select the offer page associated with this offer.
- This offer page is shown on checkout and shopping cart page when customer is eligible for the offer.
- Click Save. The offer has been successfully created.
How to create an offer for : Buy X Products and Get Y Offer On Different Products:

- You must also enter the quantity of above products that must be added to cart.
- Now enter the number of quantity on which offer should be given.
- Now select the products on which the offer will be applied.
- The products should be different from first selected products.
- Choose what kind of discount needs to be done. Ex: Fixed or Percentage.
- Choose the amount of discount.
- You can select the offer page associated with this offer.
- This offer page is shown on checkout and shopping cart page when customer is eligible for the offer.
- Click Save. The offer has been successfully created.
How to create an offer for : Buy X Products and Get Y Offer On Same Products
